When you think of America, you think of the land of the free. You think of the most powerful country in the world. People see America as an opportunity for success, a place of protection and support. Truthfully, I can't say people are wrong about America. There isn't many other country I'd want to live in. Canada is cool, but i still like America though. Even though there is a lot of great things about America and it has a great image, there is still many negative aspects in relation to the country overall. There are many issues today that vary in our country. For example, there are many political issues, such as the impeachment of President Trump. Leadership has become a problem for many. Possible war could be imminent too, resulting from the bombing of Iran and its general. Those are just a few issues. The image of America as a safe haven and the land of the free is common as well, however in reality, there are many truths opposing this at time, such as immigration, and how immigrants are treated. People like ICE oppose this and the President. A new wall is built to stop migrants. Even with America being the land of the free, there are many people who are imprisoned and abused. America is a great country, however there are many contradicting truths and realities, and many issues to it overall.
